The Blair Witch project is a horror-themed platformer from indie studio Blair Witch Games.
The game features a creepy witch that takes the form of a little girl, and a mysterious new protagonist, who travels through a magical land.
Here’s a look at how to make one for kids.1.
Choose a title and a title character.
For the project’s title character, use a character from the Blair Witch films, such as a witch or ghost, witch hunter or ghost.
For its title character (the player character), choose one of the characters from the films.2.
Make a list of game characters you want to include in your game.
You could have a list like this: “The Witch of Black Lake” or “The Little Witch of the East.”3.
For each of the game’s main characters, draw them out of the shadows and make them fight each other in battle.
Make sure they look badass!4.
Choose your game’s ending and plot.
For your main character, choose a line from the movie that tells the story of your character.
You can then decide whether the player character is going to live or die.
For the main heroine, you’ll want to use a line of dialogue from the film: “You are not the only one who is not afraid of the darkness.”5.
Choose the game characters’ names.
For every character, you should pick a name that matches their character.
That way, the player can reference them in their game, as well as when the main character talks to the player.6.
For all of your characters, make sure that each character has their own story and that they have their own unique voice.
For example, if the main characters were to wear their hair in a ponytail, they’d be called “The Princess of Ponytail” in your project.
You might want to add a line like “This ponytail is a special gift from my dear friend the Princess of the Ponytail.”7.
Create your story.
For characters in your first game, choose the story you want them to tell.
For their second game, pick the story that you want for their third game.
For later games, add more twists and turns.
For a complete story, choose from the list of titles that follows.8.
Add sound effects for your game characters.
For more details, read the tutorial.
For audio, create your own sounds by playing the game in Audacity or a similar audio editor.
Make certain to have a sound effect that sounds like the character is talking.
For sounds that don’t sound as you want, choose your own options for sounds.9.
Create a title screen for your story characters.
Create two title screens for each character in your story: one for your main title character and one for the game character.
Create title screens that include the main title and the game title.10.
When you’re ready to play, go ahead and open your game and choose the main hero and the title character in the list.
Your game will then start.
