Naughty Dog and Sony have partnered on a new video game called Project Free TV.
The studio, which has been teasing the title for months, announced it today.
The video game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC starting next year.
Naughty Dogs is working on the project as part of the “The Art of NaughtyDog” series, a series that aims to teach kids the importance of art and storytelling.
It is the third video game project from Naughty dogs, following the Uncharted series and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
“We are thrilled to work with Sony and bring our new Project FreeTV to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The game’s core concept is simple, but its gameplay is a great fit for our new platform,” Naughty dog CEO John Koller said in a statement.
“With the PlayStation, we’re able to bring a truly immersive experience to PlayStation 4 players.
With Xbox One we can deliver a true cross-platform game that’s as beautiful as it is challenging.”
The game will offer a wide variety of dog abilities, including agility, obedience, and tag team.
It will also offer online leaderboards.
Naming rights for Project Free will be shared through a “franchise” agreement with Sony.
Project Free is being developed by Naughty Dudes Studio and Naughty Pets and will launch sometime in the summer of 2019.
