A project to restore a Victorian mansion in Melbourne’s north has been awarded $10 million in funding.
The project is in its final stages of planning.
The $10m project is one of a number of projects that have been launched this year in the wake of the Victorian Government’s decision to close the Victorian Woodworking Council.
It is hoped the funds will be used to rebuild the Victorian Lincolns mansion, which was once the home of the British colonialist Sir Robert Lincola.
Lincolin built the mansion on the site of the Lincols home in 1831.
The estate has been in the hands of the local community for over 120 years.
The Lincoles mansion was used for filming and was the inspiration for a series of novels.
In the 1960s, the Victorian government shut down the council after finding out the cost of repairing the building was over $1 million.
The mansion has been closed since then and it is thought to be one of the last Victorian homes in the country that has not been fully restored.
A small group of volunteers have now taken over the project, building and restoring a large Victorian mansion at the corner of Brunswick Street and West Lincoels Road.
The Victorian Woodworks Council has confirmed the funding will be spent on the project.
They said the project will be funded by the Victorian Land Council, the National Heritage Area of Victoria and the Victorian Local Government Association.
It has also been funded by Victoria Council for Local Government.
The group behind the project said they have a team of volunteers who will be working 24/7.
It said they plan to work for up to a year to restore the mansion.
“The project is being done in partnership with volunteers who have been working on the house since the 1980s,” the Victorian Council said.
“We are proud to have this opportunity to restore this magnificent home for generations to come.”
The Victorian Lighthouse will be one element of the project and it will be a lighthouse on the shoreline of the Lake Mungo.
The restoration will be supervised by the Lake Lighthouse Council and the Lake Nambu Council.
The Lake Nammu Council is responsible for maintaining and maintaining the Lake Mangi, a popular tourist attraction and tourist attraction in the lake.
The Lakes Lighthouse is currently under construction and is expected to open in 2018.
The plan for the project is to restore both the original lighthouse and the lighthouse that will replace it.
The state government said the lighthouse project is expected in 2021.
The State Government also announced it would award $5 million to the Lighthouse Restoration Trust in the coming financial year.
The Trust is responsible with planning and building the restoration of the lighthouse and also for funding the restoration work.
