Zoho has listed 21 projects to be released in 2019, including new projects, a new studio, a remake of a classic film, a stage play and an international film festival.
The studio said the list includes many films from major international film studios, such as 20th Century Fox, Paramount, Lionsgate and Warner Bros. “We are always looking for exciting and original ways to deliver our audiences with compelling, innovative, innovative films,” said Zoho CTO and President, Nick O’Malley.
“With the addition of these projects, we are making sure that we deliver a film every week for a year and that we continue to expand our creative vision and create more original and exciting content for our customers.”
One of the new films in the list is the remake of the 1974 classic film The Exorcist.
It will be based on a script by Michael Mann, who also wrote the feature film version of the same title.
O’Malley said the film would be directed by John Cameron Mitchell and would be the first of its kind for Zoho.
Mitchell is known for directing many of the best-known films of the past half century including American Graffiti, The Big Lebowski, The Blair Witch Project and Pulp Fiction.
“He is a master at the art of directing and he is a very good storyteller,” said O’Mahons son, Nick.
“It will be an amazing experience to work with him on this project.”
Mitchell is also working on the script for the live action remake of The Godfather: Part II, which is set to be the next big movie of the franchise.
Another film from the studio that is not on the list of 21 is the animated film The Little Mermaid.
It was the first animated film of the Disney series and it is set for release in 2020.
Zoho’s list also includes a number of projects in the field of television, such the TV series A Series of Unfortunate Events, the animated movie Aladdin, the television series The Simpsons, the feature documentary A Man Called Dave and the feature adaptation of the novel The Girl on the Train.
Other projects in this year’s list include the live-action adaptation of American Psycho, the upcoming film American Horror Story: Asylum and the animated series Adventure Time.
The list of projects for the next year also includes many new titles, including the live adaptation of Disney’s film Aladdin with Josh Gad and Jason Bateman.
Zoho is currently working on a live-updating version of Aladdin that is scheduled to be finished by the end of 2019.
Meanwhile, Zoho is also developing the adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series, based on J. K. Rowling and Terry Pratchett’s popular children’s books.
It is expected that the live version of American Horror Stories, due out in 2020, will also be a Disney adaptation.
A spokesperson for Disney said the company was currently working with Zoho on the adaptation and was “excited to see what they bring to the live TV format”.
The spokesperson said the adaptation was in “advanced talks” and “we’re looking forward to sharing more details as we get closer”.
